Work Readiness Academy

Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH), one of UCESC’s partners in providing job training for students in the Work Readiness Academy (WRA), participated in IHOP’s National Pancake Day fundraiser to raise money to help fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. The WRA interns decided to participate and planned their own WRA Pancake Day on Friday, February 28th. The interns prepared and served pancakes to the elementary and middle school age students who attend UCESC’s Crossroads School. All money raised by the interns will be submitted as a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network -- to benefit Children’s Specialized Hospital.
